On March 9th, 2026, Short Answer was honored to be joined by a cross-institutional research team studying peer feedback, AI, and writing instruction. Marit MacArthur, Lisa Sperber, and Carl Whithaus of The University of California, Davis, and Anna Mills of College of Marin shared PAIRR, a research-informed writing pedagogy that combines structured peer review with guided AI feedback.
