Short Answer’s theory of change was crafted in the Learning Design and Technology master’s degree program in the Stanford Graduate School of Education under the guidance of Dr. Karin Forsell, Dr. Sarah Levine, Dr. Bruce McCandliss, and many others (see Acknowledgments section below). Initial efficacy research was conducted over the summer and fall of 2022 with 20 teachers across 8 states. The Short Answer team continues to engage with external research teams to measure the impact of our product.
